Rosita Almonte Salcedo tucks the locals behind her

She is all earthy and fun and heartily approachable. Just the same, it took Mayor Emma, a back-up retinue of barangay kapitanes, and bottles of sweet wine to finally close the list to three hopefuls in the Search for Ms Pozorrubio Fiesta Queen 2009.

She, Rosita Almonte Salcedo, is a self-made businesswoman, a kagawad of Barangay Alipangpang, and life-partner to Kapitan Rogelio Amansec. She eases unto the seat of the third angle of the triangle of candidates, and comfortably tucks-in behind her the sponsorship of no less than the Liga ng mga Barangays, PWERSA(Pozorrubio Workers and Employees Resource and Services Association), and the DepEd family.   

 And like the two other candidates, she truly believes that the revenues she will help generate by this popularity contest will contribute a lot towards the construction of the last of the buildings in the municipal circle.

                Greetings to all of you, my kabaleyan!

            I, Rosita Almonte Salcedo, feel elated, exuding feelings of pride for being chosen as one of the candidates vying for the title of Ms Pozorrubio 2009.

Being the first lady to my loving and supportive husband, Barangay Kapitan Rogelio Amansec, and at the same time a Barangay Kagawad of Alipangpang, I am a public servant by heart. I would like to widen my horizon in extending my services not only to the people of Alipangpang but also to the townspeople of Pozorrubio.

Inarok ya kabaleyan, kerewen ko sirin ed sikayo so malublubag ed loob ya panangaro parad say iyaligwas na baley tayon Pozorrubio.
