Fil-Chinese Federations aid Cosme victims

Their response had always been swift and without question. The Pangasinenses needed buildings to house classrooms. They constructed the buildings to house classrooms then turned them over to the respective municipalities, sometimes prioritizing Pozorrubio because of their close friendship to Board Member Danny Uy, Mayor Emma T. Chan and former Mayor Artemio Chan.  

In times of calamities and emergencies, they were among the first to respond to calls for goods and relief in aid of the victims who suffered unduly in the aftermath of tropical storm Cosme.  They not only sent the relief packs. They came themselves.

Our Filipino-Chinese brothers from the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc., together with Abono party list founder Engineer Rosendo So, sent  over 500 each family packs of mixed foodstuff (rice, noodles and canned fish) to be distributed among the storm victims as qualified by the DSWD municipal officer Joy Jo-Ann Veniegas.  

Congressman Mark Cojuangcco also sent over 30 cavans of rice to supplement the 100 cavans of rice, 70 boxes of noodles and 50 boxes of sardines raised by the Pozorrubio local government.  

Pozorrubians from here and abroad are enjoined to participate in assistance of the Cosme victims.
